Hair transplant operation is not a procedure that takes long. The examination and decision stages of the procedure may take a little longer. During the examination, the person’s hair structure, reasons for baldness are analyzed in detail. A normal hair transplant procedure takes about 5-6 hours in a day.
It depends on the number of grafts and the hair transplantation method. But there is no big difference in the ratio of the hair loss even though its labor and duration change depending on the density of hair. Hair transplantation by FUE method is both easy and painless and gives more successful results than the other hair transplantation methods.
Those who want to have a hair transplant should start to be prepared one week before the operation. When getting ready for the operation, you should not use blood thinners and vitamins. As cigarettes cause a blood circulation disorder, hair transplantation may not give good results for smokers, because the blood circulation disorder causes the asphyxiation and innutrition of hair. Therefore, if you cannot stop smoking, you can give a break 48 hours before the operation. Apart from this, hair should not be dyed and no alcohol should be drunk. Before the hair transplantation, hair should be cleaned well and be free from gel, spray and similar materials, if the hair loss of the person is in the first three stages, the hair transplantation can be completed in a single session. If the hair loss is in the last three stages, the number of the sessions can be increased.
The individual characteristics of the person play an important role in the determination of the number of hair transplant sessions. If the person to have hair transplant has thick, curly, dark hair and the state of baldness is little, sufficient results can be achieved in a single session. If the person’s hair; is fine, straight, light and has a large bald area, more sessions may be needed. The number of sessions can be adjusted depending on the desired result.
If the patient needs to have more than one session, the doctor may set a time period between sessions in order not to damage the hair follicles. The doctor will continue the procedure in accordance with the expectations and satisfaction of the patient.
Thanks to the scientific developments, hair transplantation technologies have reached a pretty advanced level. Now, very successful operations are performed. With the new technologies developed, the problem of scar after hair transplantation has been solved. This problem has been eliminated particularly with the FUE technology. In some cases that the person’s hair structure is not appropriate for FUE technology, FUT technology can still be used. As a result of this operation, a scar in the form of a line that is 1 mm wide and 22 cm long may be left on the donor site. The technology of hair transplantation should be decided by the person that will undergo hair transplantation or the doctor. Because the criteria such as price, time and hair density may affect the decision. There is the possibility of scar as a result of the operations by FUT technology. Individual characteristics of the person that will have hair transplantation play a determining role. If the hairs in the area where hair roots are to be extracted are lifeless and thin, the doctor may have to use FUT technology. If your doctor has told you that he would use FUT technology, it is because this is the best method for you. That’s why you should pay attention to the reliability of the hair transplantation center and your doctor. Because the scar may create bigger problems for you afterwards. You can minimize the scar with healthy, hygienic and specialized staff. Remember that the scars on hair roots will be more visible at the beginning because your hair will be short. As your hair grows, scars will be invisible. Months after your hair transplantation, hair starts to grow and stitch scars are hidden. Transplanted hair roots start to grow about 6 months after transplantation. In the following months, growing speeds up and the problems of stitch scars on your scalp are removed. Since FUE technology is a method without scar, it is especially preferred by the doctors. The period after hair transplant operation is so important. Patient needs to be very patient in this period when hair is expected to grow.
Hair transplantation is a very important operation that may affect the person positively in every aspect. Thinning or balding is the nightmare of many people. In fact, people having thinning or balding hair may even have great traumas. Especially hair loss in women may give rise to greater traumas than hair loss in men. Because men are more used to have hair loss or baldness. However, majority of women get very unhappy after having hair loss. Society is not used to baldness in women and a pressure is made on women because of this point of view. Again due to social precepts, women pay more attention to their physical appearance than men do. Hair loss in women occurs in stages. During pregnancy, post- natal period, ageing and menopause, hair loss in women increases. Mid-seasons, some types of diseases such as thyroid and external factors are among the reasons of hair loss in women. A woman experiences hair loss should be first examined by a dermatologist. The reasons causing hair loss should be found, if it results from any disease, this disease should be treated. Hair loss in women reveals itself with first thinning and decreasing of hair. Since the hair transplantation is now well-developed, it is an important treatment option for men and women. Hair transplant operations in women are customized and operation should be made by specialists. Hair loss may also result from genetic factors, hormone imbalance, use of cosmetic products not suitable for hair, stress, etc. Hair is thinner in genetic hair loss and the density of hair is seen to be apparently reduced. In hair loss in women, frontal hairline generally stays stable in various ways, and may rarely move back like in male-type hair loss. For women who want to have hair transplantation, the type of hair loss is analyzed and the reason for hair loss is researched before hair transplantation. The person having a hair loss should clearly explain to his doctor what he/she expects from hair transplantation. Thereupon, the specialist decides about the method of transplantation and starts the operation. All the techniques used in hair transplantation are also suitable for women.
In hair transplantation, the tissues containing hair follicles to be transferred are called grafts. One graft contains 2 or 3 follicles. Hair transplantation of the majority of patients is completed in one session but this number can be increased depending on the number of grafts. The number of grafts to be used in each session depends on thinness of the hair to be transplanted and the transplantation technique. The number of grafts to be harvested is directly proportional to the density of hair. As the density of hair increases, more grafts should be used to maintain the natural look. For thin hair, fewer grafts are used for the same reasons. There are 10.000-12.000 grafts on the back of the neck and on the back of ears even in case of severe hair loss. 6.000 out of those are suitable for hair transplantation. This number is enough for closing the bald area and making it look natural. As follicles are extracted and transplanted en masse in the FUT method, a single session is generally enough and 2.000 – 4.000 grafts can be transplanted. In the FUE method, follicles are extracted and transplanted one by one; therefore it is a longer process than the FUT method. It may take about 6 -9 hours. The number of grafts harvested in one session is about 3.000 – 4.500. in case that the patient’s expectation and requests are not met or a natural look is not achieved, several sessions can be made.
A hair transplant procedure can take 8 to 14 hours depending on the number of grafts, the technique to be used and the complexity of the operation. Since it is an operation that generally takes long, it is preferred that the operation is started early in the day. The extraction of grafts in the FUE technique takes about 3-4 hours. After harvesting the grafts, a break is given for resting. The following stage of transplanting the grafts takes 3-4 hours likewise. These sessions can be repeated for one or two times depending on the number of the grafts to be used. Since local anesthesia is applied in this technique, the patient can speak, watch TV or watch his own operation on the screen or even sleep if he wishes. In the FUT technique, short sessions can take about 4 hours and longer sessions can take the whole day.
Dental Implants are done under local anesthesia, so there is no pain during the operation. However, minor discomfort after the procedure may occur, and it is normal and easy to control by painkillers.
The duration varies depending on the number of implanted teeth. It takes about 10-15 minutes for each tooth. If it is planned to implant the whole mouth, it needs 4-6 roots to install all teeth.

A dental implant is a surgical procedure to replace a lost tooth. Natural Clinic uses only the highest quality brands for patient satisfaction, and these brands maintain their durability for a lifetime.
Dental implant treatment, a procedure that replaces a lost tooth with an artificial one, offers many advantages compared to other dental restoration options, such as:
Looks and feels like natural teeth: Implant teeth look and feel like real teeth and move naturally in the mouth, so you will not experience any problems with chewing and speaking functions.
Provides a permanent solution: Implant teeth not only provide a permanent solution but are generally long-lasting. With regular and proper care, they can last a lifetime.
Does not harm neighboring teeth: Other restoration options, like bridges, require cutting or damaging neighboring teeth. Instead, implant teeth are placed directly into the jawbone without damaging adjacent teeth.
Protects the jawbone: A lost tooth can cause bone loss in the jaw, but implant teeth prevent the jawbone from remaining empty and prevent bone lost.
Requires care similar to natural teeth: Implants can be brushed and flossed like natural teeth and monitored with regular dental checkups, unlike bridges placed in more challenging areas and harder to clean.
Boosts self-confidence: Implants, securely fixed in the jaw, help make teeth feel more secure and robust.
Improves aesthetic appearance: Implant teeth replace the lost tooth, leaving no gap in the mouth, providing a fuller appearance and looking better aesthetically.
Implant surgery requires care after the procedure, just as before and during. In particular, it is recommended to follow the suggestions below to accelerate the healing process and ensure the successful placement of the implant:
Bleeding: Use the methods your doctor recommends to reduce and stop any bleeding after surgery and avoid hot foods and drinks for the first few days.
Pain: You can alleviate the pain you may feel after implant surgery using pain relievers recommended by your doctor, and you can also help relieve pain with an ice application.
Infection: To reduce the risk of infection after implant surgery, use antibiotics recommended by your doctor and pay attention to your oral hygiene.
Diet: After implant surgery, consuming soft and juicy foods and avoiding hot foods and drinks for the first few days is essential to allow the wound in your mouth to heal.
Smoking: Smoking after implant surgery can slow the healing process and increase the risk of infection. It is recommended not to smoke at least one week before and at least one week after surgery.
Oral hygiene: You can maintain your hygiene by applying the oral care methods recommended by your doctor after surgery, thus reducing the number of bacteria in the implant area.
Doctor check-up: It is essential to visit your doctor at the frequency they recommend after implant surgery. Your doctor can monitor the healing process of the implant and intervene if any issues arise.
